A Throw I Made...

To cover Sparkie's favorite cushions on the sofa - he loves to drape his body across them to get close to "daddy". I took these pics of almost 3 year old Sparkie (the dark GSD) and his big "sister" Susie (10 years old) tonight.

Updates....

Top and bottom are for the NIC unit charity we're helping on Crochetville. The middle is my project, a pet memories graphghan. It's not finished yet, as you can tell, but so far this shows our GSDs up to and incuding our current furbaby, Sparkie, who is nearly three. Susie, the last girl on the list, is 10 now. They love being together :>)

The top is a 22 inch square for the NIC unit...I just liked the colors and wanted to play :>)
The bottom is a 48 inch RR made from leftovers I had of Homespun yarn. Some little boy will like how soft it is.

Baby ghan

I found the blue squares in my stash and made enough white ones to make this 22 inch baby blanket. It'll be going to the NIC unit.

Lapghan for a little neighbor

Little Lars is 2 1/2 and his mom was Baby Dean's nurse (posts from last July, and forward, tell all about our great nephew), and I just felt the urge to use bright and fun colors and make him something special!
It's 2 strands of yarn, a P hook and measures about 48 inches across. I don't want him to outgrow it too fast...LOL!

Latest work...

I made 8 inch squares and also 6 by 9 rectangles for two different causes. The Round Ripple is a 38 inch lapghan I made for a nursing home.

A Comfortghan for a Young Boy

The ghan is for a 9 yo. Each square is 7 12 inches and there are 5 across and 6 down. The border is 3 rounds of hdc, ending with a round of rev. hdc (the close up). It measures 40 by 47 inches.
