Baby Ghan

A blanket for my friend's eagerly anticipated grandson. I used the textured square pattern from Jan Eaton's book and embroidered the hearts freehand. Measures 36 by 48.

A Fun Scarf!

I had several balls of leftover Homespun and decided to make a scarf. I was intending it to be completely random, but my crochet OCD took over and it ended up with a bit of a symmetrical pattern. I used an L hook and the stitches are HDC. I still have some odds and ends left over, and I think they might make cute embellishments as flowers on crocheted hats.

More Ghans

I made this graph ghan for a sweet little girl who lives just up the street from us. She squealed in excitement when she saw the picture!

Two ghans I made using up some of my stash. The top one has been donated and the bottom picture was made using Homespun, and is for us.

Mr. Eagle

He measures 46 by 64 and will be living with the polar bear I made a couple of months ago.

Not sure if I posted this. It's another baby ghan - I just loved the color combo!  It has no home yet.

I just finished this gift two days ago and gave it to our vet yesterday. She has been such an angel with our dogs - and with me, who gets so nervous when the pups get ill. She is expecting her first chile in August! Blessings to you and your baby, Dr. M!!

Oversized afghan requested by a dear friend!
