The washcloths are to welcome Brenda's baby, Emma.
Crocheting is my absolutely most favorite thing to do with yarn or thread. I also work counted cross stitch, embroidery, and have started to knit, which I'm growing to love! I want to use these pages to share some of my work, and hopefully help spread the word about what fun these handcrafts can be!

Latest work...
I made the 12 inch, Fall colored square for Amy, on crochetville. The pattern is from Crochet Pattern Central.

A Scarf

For Fisher House at Ft. Bragg
It's 39 inches square and a nice size for a comfort blankie for a kid, I think. The center square was gifted to me by another Crochetville member and it became the kick start for the design as I mimicked the pattern. The squares I made are a larger version of Cara's Grecian Tiles pattern on the Happy Yellow House site.

More stuff...
I tested 2 patterns for 7 inch squares for someone on Crochetville...then used one of those patterns, added another row..and there was an 8 inch square for me to send someone for their friendship ghan!
I also crocheted a "keyhole" scarf out of cream colored chenille.
AND for my birthday I was gifted with a big square of Betty Boop (I have a thing about her...LOL) along with a 2-colored square I'm using as the centerpiece for a Fisher House ghan I'm in the middle of making, and a square for my own friendship ghan.
Betty Boop will be one side of a tote bag :>)
