This is a present for an upcoming grandbaby...my longtime neighbor's son is becoing a dad for the first time.

Flag Ghan

This was a group project on which six of us who belong to www.crochetville.org collaberated. It's made from 2 1/2 inch granny squares we call "saltines" which were sewn together into this representation of an antique American flag. It measures approximately 59 by 38 inches.
Its final home will be with a family who lost a soldier in Afghanistan this past year, along with our heartfelt sympathy and gratitude for him and the many,many others who have so unselfishly given their all.
